Charles is five feet eleven inches tall. He has red hair and blue eyes, and is of average build. Often found to be dirt smudged due to a life at sea.
Charles is a somber man. He is not quite to reveal his past to anyone, no matter how close they think they are to him. What matters most is who he is now. He is a man who has nothing to lose and so he takes risks and chances. He appears to hold no remorse for his actions and he is not above getting down and dirty and often has a morbid look on life due to his experiences with it.
To avenge his wife and daughter and to find peace in it.
Born in Barbados in in the summer of 1752 to Edward and Mary Clark who owned the second largest plantation on the island.
In the spring of 1764 at the tender age of twelve, he traveled to England to join the Royal Navy under his Father’s friend, Captain James Anderson.
In the winter of 1769 he met his future wife, Anne Steele at a social function in London. In 1772 he married Anne and set up a home in London while still serving the Royal Navy.
In the fall of 1775 with a recommendation of his Captain to the Commodore; he was promoted to Lieutenant.
In the winter of 1776, Anne gave birth to a daughter they named Kitty.
In the summer of 1782 while out on a mission, Anne and Kitty who were on their way to Barbados and the plantation home Charles now owned in the death of his parents were captured by pirates and were attempted to be ransomed. When refused ransom, they were murdered and thrown overboard. Once Charles returned from his mission two months later, learned of this. He tendered his resignation and disappeared. Several months later, word that the family plantation was burned down were reported and the slaves there freed and released.
In 1784, reports fill in that Charles has been spotted on a known pirate hunter ship.
In 1792, Charles resurfaces again, this time as Charles Blackmore, Pirate Captain of the the ship “The Wraith”.
